My family feels compelled to pull over along the highway to take in the beauty of the Healing Spring every time we take a trip to Hot Springs, Virginia. This was the first time I ever painted a waterfall and tried to recreate the variety of colors the water actually reflects. The vast range of the Allegheny Mountains in the background is an added bonus to the scenic pull-over.
